Antique ANSONIA Porcelain Clock In Original Condition Fully restored !!

Description: Antique ANSONIA Porcelain Mantel Clock. fully and properly restored in original condition inside and out. This is an incredible Ansonia Porcelain clock in excellent like new condition made by the Ansonia Clock Co. between 1895 and 1905. The movement has been completely disassembled, all parts cleaned ultrasonically and by hand, all of the wheels have been inspected for trueness and all of the pivots were polished before 8 bushings were properly installed to help insure accurate timekeeping. The mainsprings that power the clock were removed from their arbors and thoroughly and properly cleaned and greased. The movement then reassembled, oiled and adjusted properly and tested using the Timetrax clock timing machine and has kept excellent time for several weeks. The porcelain case is in like new condition and has virtually no flaws, cracks or crazing that is usually found on these porcelain clocks, the colors on the porcelain case are vibrant and beautiful. The porcelain dial is pristine and the brass bezel has been cleaned and hand polished and present like new with it's beautiful thick beveled glass. The bezel door closes as it did when new. This clock is most splendid in every way and can be proudly displayed in any room in your home or as a great gift for someone special.
