Description: The tang stamp is AMERICAN KNIFE CO WNSTED CT.This is one of the later Connecticut knife companies, located in Winsted, Connecticut circa 1919 to 1948.Tang stamped on the large spear blade.Four-blade “Senator Pen Knife” pattern, 3-1/4” closed.Nickel silver handles have minor surface abrasion from carry.All blades have strong snap, small blades have half stops, all tight with no side to side wobble.Carried and used a bit, looks like it was only lightly sharpened.The blades are each full and have patina.Backsprings have staining.A scarce Connecticut brand name.
