Description: This is a beautiful mazarine blue and gold with hand painted floral motif early Worcester square bowl produced and sold by Chamberlains at 155 New Bond Street in London. This bowl was the height of fashionable tableware of the period and would have been wildly expensive. Measuring approximately 7.5" x 7.5", this bowl is covered in handpainted gold line work on a gorgeous cobalt blue glaze with numerous hand-painted floral bouquets painted throughout. Boldly hallmarked on the reverse. Condition is very good. Some of the gold has rubbed off on one interior corner (please see photos) but otherwise the piece is in excellent condition. Absolutely no chips, cracks, repairs, or other flaws. If you have any questions or would like additional information, please don't hesitate to reach out.
