Description: Antique early 19th century old Paris porcelain tazza base. These are the bottom pieces from a basket which is gone. The two pieces are held together with an original iron bolt and screw - the length of the screw is longer than needed as it is intended to reach the basket now gone. So the two pieces are not tight together. The fitter on the upper piece is chipped but it does not show when fitted into the base. Beautiful quality and an early piece. Measures 5 3/8" diameter at the top; 4 1/8" square at the bottom and 4 1/2" tall. Please view our other auctions.
