Hallmarked as Koch and Bergfeld (Bremen) and marked 800 silver on bottom of each piece.Striking design with intricate details and an inscribed heraldic shield depicting a wolf rampant between outstretched arms and over a bundle of grain. Very high quality workmanship and construction. The silver used is heavy gauge and rather thick compared to many other Victorian pieces. A smart investment! Set is in overall excellent condition considering age, small dents in a few spots on the water kettle and the rim of the spirit burner fill port has a small bend under the stopper. Raffia handle on creamer is unravelling, otherwise creamer is in very good condition.
