Description: Antique late 1800s brown silk jacket with silk velvet trim. The trim on the cuffs and neckline are appliquéd in a radial pattern. The center front has buttons, some of which are missing. There is no label, and the inside has a bodice created out of muslin and there is no skirt lining. Much of the fabric is in very good condition with just a few holes. The majority of the repairs that need to be done are related to the securing of the velvet ribbon. We are happy to provide additional photos, the back is extremely well-made with a train like construction.
