Description: "remember you must die" i bought this from a seller called ellaella022 some 20 years ago on this site. anyone remember them? they were located in Belgium.so this is from Europe, possibly germany which most of my research points to.brass (or bronze?) with ebony wood. it is definitely worn on the face where someones thumb worked on it with an unholy zeal.i gave this to my mom some 20 years ago because she is a holy roller type. she gave it back to me this summer after my father died saying, "this is idolatry, only the catholics show Jesus on the cross and i can't have this in my house..
