Description: Hello, you are viewing my listing for an Antique 1800's Engraving of Thomas Cooper. The main focal point of this engraving is a Silhoutte of a man walking with a cane and wearing a top hat. I presume that this is Thomas Cooper. There are several lines of words on the bottom of this engraving which I have shown in the photographs I have provided. One line states "Lith. of E.B & E.C. Kellogg". There is a copy of a Written Letter dated 1830 from South Carolina that was signed by "Cooper" that was attached to the back pocket of the frame. I have shown a close up photograph of the letter and what it states. This engraving is framed. There is a glass front to the frame. This art with the frame weighs 3.8 pounds and measures 15 and 5/8" wide by 20 and 5/8" tall by 1/4" thick. The exposed engraving by itself measures 10 and 3/8" wide by 14 and 3/4" tall. There is some water damage and mold stains to the bottom section of the matte. The engraving is in good condition with minimal wear present. There are no rips, tears, or repairs present. This is a very interesting engraving that seems to have some history to the state of Connecticut according to the wording on the engraving. LOCAL PICKUP IS ACCEPTED. Please view all my photographs for further details. Please note all sales are final. There are no returns, trades, or exchanges permitted. The winning buyer is asked to please make payment within 3 days of purchasing this art. Thank you. I do require a signature upon receipt for all the items I sell. I do combine shipping on most items.
