This beautiful necklace has eleven large lavender purple jade beads carved with Chinese symbols and several angel skin coral beads. The three larger jade beads in the middle are 14 mm followed by 13 mm (2 beads), 12 mm (2 beads), 11 mm (2 beads) and 10 mm (2 beads). Each carved bead is in between 2 small spacer jade beads. One jade bead is chipped as shown in pictures. However, the defect is not visible as it points down when necklace is worn. Coral beads are 7 mm and are knotted. Necklace is about 28 inches long. Total weight is 76.33 grams. Clasp is vintage and made of sterling silver, 935 purity. The 935 purity silver was used in the Art Deco period in Austria and Germany. Also, Scandinavian silver jewelers used 935 silver after the second World War. Necklace is in great vintage condition, except for the chipped jade bead.
