Description: This auction is for a handmade steel helmet. I am not sure as to what historic helmet it is modeled after, but here is what I know...... My son purchased this helmet over 10 years ago in a French city named "Orange" at an ancient Roman gift shop connected with an ancient Roman theater there. The person in the shop told him that someone in the town made it and was selling it in the shop. You will need to add a liner to the helmet if you want to wear it comfortably as it has been used for display purposes only. This has been part of an adult collection being stored in a smoke free home. Shipping with insurance and tracking will be $45.00 shipping with in the 48 lower United States to confirmed addresses only.
