Description: In case you are wondering, this bible is the exact same classic ©1987 text as the bible that has a mostly maroon colored cover. Same isbn number. Just a few notes about the Classic amplified bible. The amplified bible had a major revision in 2015. As a result, there was a need to be able to differentiate between the new 2015 edition and the older 1987 edition. To do this, the old edition started being referred to as the Classic amplified bible or AMPC. However, when the older edition was printed, it was not printed with that title. The title was given to the bible after the new edition came out. This bible that you have purchased has the older 1987 text which is now called the Classic amplified bible (AMPC). The text in this bible matches what biblegateway.com calls the Classic Amplified Bible (AMPC). Hopefully this clears up some confusion.
