Description: This is the 18” doll of Ruthie Smithens by American Girl in good used condition. Her arms and legs are tight - and she has been restrung with new metal clamps and elastics. She stands easily and holds a pose with her arms perfectly. Her hair is original and gorgeous, full & shiny, with the curls being in good condition with no dryness and some flyaways. Her eyes open & close properly. She has all her eyelashes. Her face paint is in wonderful condition with the exception of her upper lip where the paint is slightly faded on the inside. Her cloth body shoes light wear and is clean. I found no shine marks or other marks. above one eyebrow. * I do think she has visited the doll hospital at some point as her head code does not match her body tag and she was originally strung using AG knots instead of metal. * She has been thoroughly cleaned and is free of any smells or odors.
