Beck's daily panel focused on the joys and trials of country life. This daily, apparently subtitled "Fun on the Farm" (as per notation on reverse) features a couple of lazy boys who want to eat some blackberries, but don't want to put in the effort, so they look for an easy way out. Just a wonderfully rendered bucolic scene by long time cartoonist Frank Beck. Ex-Murray A. Harris collection (stamps to reverse). RE Condition: -The art is in very good overall condition. Possibly rolled at one time (for mailing?) with resultant bends to art board. Tape reinforcement to reverse. Otherwise moderate age/handling wear. Pencil notes to reverse.
