Ducks in mid-air, snakes sneaking up on gray birds, European gold finches, and peacock feathers, all of which could have been designed for wallpaper borders or tiles as the patterns repeat. These portfolios featured beautiful floral motifs that would have been used as inspiration for designers of various decorative objects like textiles, tapestries, ceramics, wallpaper, and paintings. The second volume was circa 1900 so this third volume may be 1901 or 1902. This is plate 54. Size: Paper is 10-3/8 x 14-3/8 inches; image is image is 8 x 11-1/4 inches.
