Description: This painting is by Albert Londraville (1922-2015). He studied under the famous Russian American Master, Nicolai Fechin, and Albert was a MGM scenic artist who painted movie backdrops. Albert also studied at the Lukits’ Academy of Fine Arts and often painted together with Theodore Lukits on site (plein air) and in the studio (still life’s). During this time, Albert studied both Japanese Sumi-e and Chinese Brush Painting and Philosophy. See his full bio on my website www.albertlondraville.com.
