Description: Tequila Sunrise Alaskabou Flies for Steelhead Trout and Salmon The Alaskabou fly pattern was first conceived by noted steelheader George Cook, and since it's original inception, it has been tied in numerous colour combinations. Our Alaskabou flies are all constructed with a tinsel flash body and palmered marabou. The flies are tied on 7999 salmon hooks. Palmering the marabou gives the fly a distinctive tear drop shape when drawn through the water. The Alaskabou has established a reputation as a great attractor fly for Steelhead, Coho Salmon, Bass, Chinook salmon, Pike, Pink Salmon, and Chum Salmon. The Alaskabou is fished by quartering downstream and retrieving the fly in short strips. The stripping takes advantage of the pulsing action of the marabou. The flies are available in sizes #20, #1/0, #2 and #4 and can be bought as 1 dozen or a half dozen. The regular price of these flies is $2.95 each or $17.70 for 6 or $35.40 per dozen.
