Description: A wonderful vintage Aksel Holmsen, Norwegian mid-century butterfly brooch. Sterling silver with white enameled guilloche wings and black torso. Measures approx. 1 1/8"h x 2"l, weighs approx. 8g (0.2oz). In good vintage condition, just with some discoloration/damage to the tip of one enameled wing, otherwise displaying only minimal light surface wear and silver tarnish consistent with age - see pictures.
