She is part of the Fairyland series. Nancy Ann dolls began in the 1930's and were known for their fancy dresses and pouty features. This doll dates from 1943-1945. She is 5.5" tall with all bisque body. Her shoes are painted on and black slipper style and her legs are frozen in place. She does have jointed arms. She has a wavy mohair blonde wig. She has on her dress with lace and white slip under and her wears linen pantalets on her legs. As was customary the dress is closed by a pin. Her bonnet is white felt lace. She is in Excellent condition and is 80 years old. Her clothing could use a wash as it has been on her in storage.
