Description: "Swaunee Water and Cocaine Blues" was released by the Atlanta, GA "one man band" Abner Jay in 1970 on the private Brandie Records label (LP-1001). There are 8 originals (and one standard) that should appeal to fans of outsider, "real people" artists: "Cocaine Blues," "I'm So Depressed," "The Reason Young People Use Drugs," etc. The liner notes reveal Abner's secret for good health, "layin' on his belly, drinkin' water from the ol' Swaunee River," which explains his pose on the cover. The vinyl is in VG condition due to a visible wobble that didn't affect play on my machine. You'll hear the occasional bit of background noise. The cover is VG+, still in the original factory shrink wrap but with light edge and corner wear. A name's written on one of the labels.
