Description: This is a really cool 1954 No. 10052 Gilbert Erector Rocket Launcher set in the original tin box. I do not know how to tell what actually came with the set but there is quite a bit and it looks like someone took care of the set nicely. Some of the parts you get are:1x tin building1x electric motor6x 5.5" slightly curved girders8x 3" curved girders8x 1.5" x 5.5" metal plates4x 1.5" x 3" plates with angle ends4x vehicle wheels7x 12.5" x 3" large metal plates with one edge angled14x brass gears or pulleys8x 3.5" 90° girders18x 5.5" girders12x varied sizes of metal straps6x 2.75"-diameter circular pieces8x 3" girders with 90° bent ends28x 10.5" girders1x 1-3/8"-long cylinder with holes9x metal axles1x crank1x screwdriver5x small red metal connectors2x 1-7/8" x 1" metal plates with 4 angled sides4x 5.5"-long steel frames2x 5.5" x 3" metal plates with angled sides1x large box full of connectors, screws, nuts, bolts, gears, and miscellaneous metal piecesThe only thing missing is the rocket but I'd think that would be an easy piece to find online. The tin box is in very nice condition. It comes with the original manual dated 1954. The first page that is stapled to the cover shows the rocket launcher instructions. The rest of the book is in pretty rough condition. Please ask if you have any questions. Check out my eBay store for more neat and obscure antiques.
