This is a 66-77 Early Ford Bronco Rockcrawler Power Steering Conversion Box. This is the Delphi CONVERSION box - this is NOT A FACTORY BOX or a 4x4x2 box- I do directly sell the 4x4x2 steering box as well. The DELPHI box is similar to the same box as you will find that all the bronco shops are selling today. This smooth 4 turn power steering box is one of the best boxes you can bolt on your bronco due to its 4-bolt design. Two of the factory bolt holes line up, the third needs a touch to make it bolt up and the fourth you will have to add with a 1/2" drill bit if you choose to add the hole. The pitman arm that comes with is what YOU will use and YOU will modify to your liking- due to so many various types of steering configurations I leave the pitman arm hole needing modification- either re-reamed out to the stock/non-stock steering taper or drilled out for a rod end. I give you the part numbers for the -6AN fittings (not included) that allow you to make the hoses in your garage, have the hoses made at any hydraulic shop, farm supply or auto parts store. Just add some bolts from your hardware store, hoses, lower steering joints and you are done! Compare mine to the bronco shops and save! If you change your mind on your purchase I don't refund - if I agree to return the part there's a 40% restocking fee!!! I personally think this is a fairly straightforward install if you are skilled- with that said you need to understand that this is NOT an OEM Ford part and will need to be fitted to your Bronco. I know the 66-77 Ford Bronco forward and backward, top to bottom. If you have been around older vehicles and modifying them then you will find this again to be straightforward --VERY IMPORTANT PART HERE--IF YOU are lacking both skills, tools, money and most importantly patience then PLEASE buy an OEM part that will fit with zero issues. If you only have 3 hours to install, this is your daily driver, got a 200 piece toolbox for your birthday-- this steering box is NOT for you. Just remember those OEM Ford parts are now at the youngest 40+ years old and of a mediocre design when NEW so even factory parts sorta fit. The steering boxes always have residual oil in them and some times the oil can soak the box and or the box gets damaged from improper handling. This does not in anyway mean the part inside is damaged or need returned. These are available direct 6025028945.
