Combine a very young & hungry work force with certain less-than-scrupulous mine owners and bad things are bound to happen. Fortunately, these individuals are the exception and not the rule. The names are out there and easy to identify for those of us in the business. I promise to deal only with legitimate, conscientious mine owners and sell only ethically sourced items. There's one more benefit to buying directly from the mine: Once the crystals come out of the mine they come "as-is" straight to me. I separate, clean, rinse, weigh and identify them for sale.
