Description: 5FT. SURF FISHING LEADERS/BOTTOM RIGS (3PACK) These are hand tied using leader material that I trust and have used myself for years. I have been making my own fishing leaders since 2007 and have never experienced a failed crimp connection. Each leader is coiled and packaged individually into 9X9 inch bags before being packed, padded, and shipped in a 10X10X2 inch box. This 2-piece bottom rig is made with: 14/0 Mustad circle hook, non-stainless steel, inline (nor-tempered 2X wire) 1.5 ft. (18 inches)- 175 lb. nylon coated wire section (49 strand stainless steel) 1.3 mm x 14 mm copper double barrel crimps on wire section 3.5 ft. (42 inches)- 200 lb. clear monofilament section 1.5 mm x 10 mm aluminum double oval crimps on mono section 150 lb. brass/stainless steel snap swivel on mono section for surf weight attachment (weight not included) 10 red beads on mono section 175 lb. brass barrel swivels connect the wire and mono sections; the mono section ends with another terminal swivel (also 175 lb. test) that you can tie directly to your mainline or use a snap swivel connection These rigs have a lightweight build but can be used to target bull reds, small sharks, and possibly running crevalle jack in light to moderate surf conditions.These rigs work well with either cut or live bait.
