Description: Copper wall sculpture "School of Fish" by C. Jere, signed and dated 1979. Direct from a local estate, has some light signs of age and one weld has broken but this looks great on the wall and displays fine as found. Large scale with dozens of hand-cut and torched fish, all of which are accounted for-no loss. Please study photos and read full condition report, let me know if you have any questions. 29" tall, 56" wide, about 6" deep overall. Good condition-looks great. One notable flaw: one of the welds that held two of the long support pieces has broken-see close ups. The sculpture is still holding, straight and hangs nicely as is; this could be repaired with some simple metal work or lashed together. Otherwise: Solid and structurally sound, no loss or missing pieces, no loose joints, no bends, no repairs etc. Metal finish has mild patina, a few mild scuffs, some light tarnishing but no corrosion or rust. The metal finish is quite nice considering its age-the fish look excellent. Makes a nice appearance, displays well on the wall. Please refer to photos for the best description and send any questions you might have. Thanks for looking. This can be shipped, see shipping calculator, oversized box.
