Description: This rare & collectible book highlights the 50th anniversary of WOLF & DESSAUER, the famous and historic downtown department store in Ft. Wayne (IN). Presumably published in 1946, it is a large hardcover (approximately 10½ x 10½ inches), 24 pages, and in ACCEPTABLE CONDITION. The cover is greatly faded, has a couple tears on the spine, and has other noticeable marks and creases. On the inside cover, where it says, “For the private collection of . . .,” whatever name was written is covered up with ink. The inside pages are generally okay, although several have watermarks. This item was passed down from my father-in-law who lived in Indiana and took his family on shopping visits to Ft. Wayne a couple times a year. Despite its condition, the rare and collectible value of this book justifies the price.
