The 400 grit set is strictly for removal of 220 grit scratches and the 600 grit set is strictly for removal of 400 grit scratches. Using 400 grit or 600 grit sets to remove material will wear them out very quickly. Note: You will see these sets from other sources for varying prices. There are several companies that manufacture the blanks for these diamond tool sets. There are also numerous diamond plating companies that buy these blanks and plate them with diamond compounds. The quality of the diamond plating process varies tremendously between plating companies. The concentration of diamond, quality of bond and plating material can vary greatly.
