Steven Zaloga, “Russian Falcons”, Concord Publications 1994. Covers “modern” Russian aircraft as presented by their manufacturers at the 1992 Mosaeroshow and Farnborough show of 1992. Mostly color photo essays. Includes coverage for the following aircraft: Il-102, Mig-23/27, Mig-25, Mig-29/32, Mig-31, Su-24, Su-25T (Su-34), Su-27-35, Yak-38, Yak-141, Tu-95/142, Tu-22M, Tu-160, Mi-24, Mi-26, Mi-28, Ka-27, Ka-50, “other types”, & Aviation Weapons. 96 pages, slight dog-ear to bottom right corner of several pages towards the back of both cover and interior, softcover and pages bright and clean, a well-read copy in great condition. 2.) Steven Zaloga, “Modern Soviet Warplanes: Fighters & Interceptors. Concord Publications 1991. Covers last era of Soviet air force, “a photographic survey of recent Soviet fighter and interceptor aircraft with a special emphasis on detail views useful for aircraft modelers” - mostly black & white details of aircraft in action, some color. 64 “landscape”pages (they’re not numbered, my count could be off)? Softcover has only a couple of slight bumps at the corners, dried pricetag mark on inside of front cover, otherwise bright and clean, a well read copy in great shape. 3.) Steven Zaloga, “Modern Soviet Warplanes: Strike Aircrafts & Attack Helicopters.” Concord Publications 1991. As the above, emphasizing detail useful for modelers, but for strike A/C & Helis. Mostly black & white with some color. 60 “landscape” pages (they’re not numbered, my count could be off)? Definite “spreading open” to covers and minor dog ear to top right, some nicks, some fading. Inside slightly yellowing but otherwise tight and clean, a well read copy in great shape. 4.) Buza / Peeters – “Sukhoi Su-22 M3” – Lock on No 27 Aircraft Photo File. Verlinden Productions, 1994. Meticulous color photo coverage of almost every external and visible internal detail of a Hungarian air force version of this aircraft with the aim of providing assistance to modelers. 36 “landscape” pages, a couple of bumps to the softcover corners, otherwise interior is bright and tight showing less signs of having been read. 5.) Mike Spick, “Modern Soviet Fighters”, Osprey 1987, Combat Aircraft Series 10. This one isn’t shown in the main photo, I’m throwing it in because it fits with the other cold war era booklets in this lot. This booklet provides a view into what was publicly known about the “latest” soviet fighter aircraft in the late 1980s. In typically brief Osprey fashion, this covers the MiG-29, Su-27, MiG-25 & 31, Su-24, & Su-25, with some black and white photos and illustrated cover profiles of each. 48 pages, in surprisingly good shape for its age, only a slight bump to the lower right side of the softcover – otherwise both cover and interior are bright with little or no sign of yellowing and aging. I am not a dealer, just an OCD collector looking to make some space in my life – please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thanks for looking.
