40s 50s JD Junior Accent Original 0 00 Dress Crochet Beige Lace Rhinestone

Description: Brand Name: - JD Junior Accent OriginalCondition: - Good Pre-owned condition. The lace does not appear to be snagged or damaged at all. The hem looks like it had an iron on hem to hold it up and has come loose, but is still in place and I don't believe will be too noticable with a slight iron to it. Also the under fabric liner has several small holes, but also not noticable underneath the dress. (see pictures) Otherwise in good shape for being this old of a designer dress. The first picture with the dress on a mannequin is not the dress on sale here but one like it. See the rest of the pictures. Clothing Style: - Women's short sleeve DressItem Details: - This is a beautiful unique dress. It is a vintage dress from the 40s 50s era. It is a lace crochet floral see through fabric with a under lining. The top part is dotted with rhinestones front and back. It has two silky pleated ties attached at the left side of the waist. I believe these to be real silk but there is no material tag, so I can't be positive. In any case they have a satin feel. And it is also lined underneath with this fabric. It is nice and soft to the touch. The outside fabric feels like a cotton or linen type. This outer fabric is a lace netting with a floral design inside a diamond shape. It is very pretty. The pictures don't do it justice. It has a zipper on the left side. This is absolutely one of a kind. I believe this dress could possibly be from the late 40's. The tag on it says this "REG US PAT OFF". And this is what I found on that. The "Reg. U.S. Pat. Off." (Registered with the US Patent Office) label was the precursor to product registration (the R in a circle) under the Lanham Act (also known as the Trademark Act) of 1946. The law took effect 1 year from enactment, and so became law in 1947. During that time period, manufacturers were registering their names and lines, as well as their trademark names and logos.
