We make Santa Claus Belts. Most Santas are pretty big in the cookie zone when you add in all that padding and the jacket so they'll often need a VERY long strap. Over the past few years, we've found that the "smaller" straps aren't getting used as much as the longer ones. And when we say smaller, that means 50" which for most folks is PLENTY long. Responding to this surplus and a few requests from our customers, we've decided to offer these great 4" belt straps for sale. The are made of 10-11 oz black latigo leather that has an amazing combination of structure, flexibility, moisture resistance, and soft/comfortable feel. The side edges are finished and edge dyed and the belt strap has been sealed with Tuff Coat to seal, protect,& give a nice finished appearance. Dimensions:Imperial measure: 4" wide x 10 – 11 oz thick(5/32 – 11/64") x 50"+ long Metric measure: 10.16 cm wide) x 4.0 – 4.4 mm x 127cm+ long Length - How we measure length When we say 50", that means that the belt will have at least that much on the strap if trimmed to square ends. We can (and often do) send some that are a bit longer, but never less than the stated length. Option for End punching for half roundA big 4" half round tip punch is a rare tool for any but a specially shop such as ours. So if you'd like us to finish your belt with that shape just send a message and we'll be happy to oblige. Economizer option: We normally build complete belts out of long straps in one piece. But if your project calls for something using smaller pieces we might be able to save you some money in providing a similar length in smaller parts.
