Description: This set of four Comanche Pottery Pleated / Fluted round bowls made of marble swirled clay. Beautiful reddish brown orange cream and yellow colors. These are NOT tribal works. The firm was founded by Ron Allen originally of Comanche TX. Three appear signed by is "JUDY". The fourth is not legible, But if it doesn't say JUDY it looks like ?AKE. 2.5 inches in height 4.5 inches in width The backstamp is impressed inside (not under base) 'Comanche Pottery' Oxford MS but just barely legible on any. USED: surface chipped but no chunks and fluted edges are surprisingly crisp. No cracks. Varnish/paint inside has mostly flaked off and there appears tissue paper stuck inside one. No idea when they were made.
