A magnet is attracted to them but it’s not a real strong attraction. I believe these are the ones carried by irrigation king. Irrigation king claims they are brass. And they do appear to have some brass, but clearly the body is not brass unless it’s possibly coated with nickel or some other material. These will be shipped with the handle detached for cheaper shipping. Very easy to reattach.
