A pinhole is centered in the center of the top of the postcard. The righthand top corner is bent. The reverse of the postcard is in very good shape. It displays my mom's address as a teen. The mailing date is shown as Oct 23, 1947. The postcard was mailed from Warner Bros., Burbank, California.Joan Fontaine, facsimile autograph; This photo displays Joan Fontaine with a lower sleek bun, attired in a printed gown while wearing gloves. The photo is numbered with a 111 in the top righthand corner. There are a few creases and waves on this postcard. The reverse side displays signs of pasting. My mom's address as a teen in displayed. The mailing date is Jan. 25, 1949, from Universal City, California. The reverse also advertises Miss Fontaine's movie, "You Gotta Stay Happy". Joan Crawford, facsimile autograph; The photo displays Joan Crawford in a dotted turtleneck and her hair is curled. The photo is numbered with a 115 in the righthand corner. The corners are slightly bent. The reverse side shows my mom's address as a teenager; mailing date of Aug. 14, 1948, postcard mailed from Burbank, California. A dark spot appears to the left of the postcard. My grandmother and mother collected film star photos and autographs from their respective eras. I have silent movie star photos left from my grandmother, and film stars from the 1940s and 1950s left from my mom. My mom kept her collection in a scrapbook (and then removed them); and also numbered her photos in the order received. I try to note all signs of pasting, numbers, pinholes, etc. in the description. (The red ebay sign will not be imprinted on the photo; it is a security mark to prevent copying.) These postcards would look excellent framed or displayed in a shadowbox. A memento/throwback to the Golden Age of Hollywood!
