The standard safety guard features a convenient ingredient opening on one side, so you can add sauces or other additives without needing to open the safety guard. The safety guard itself uses thick gauge stainless steel for durability and prevent ingredients from splashing out of the bowl. The standard #12 hub on the front of the machine is a nice addition and is capable of running most standard #12 accessories. Do not use any additional attachments on the #12 hub while also using the planetary mixer as this can stress the transmission and damage the machine. The motor itself, at 1HP (750W), is powerful enough to handle a variety of food, and there is even a built in circuit breaker to protect the motor.
