3 Robert Bloch Books - Bogey Men, Firebug, The Night of the Ripper

Description: Here is a reader's lot of books by Robert Bloch, the author of Psycho. The books are Firebug and The Night of the Ripper, both 1st Tor editions from 1986, and Bogey Men, a short story collection from Pyramid Books, a 1st 1963 printing. Firebug has some general edge and corner wear, as well as a nick to the bottom left front cover, and the spine is uncreased. There is a hole punched in the cover, which is used by some stores to show used stock. Insides pages are unmarked with no stamps or writing, and the paper is of average quality, with the usual light toning for the age. The Night of the Ripper has some heavier wear to the edges, corners, and spine, although the book is structurally sound. The pages have no writing or stamps, but the last text page has a tannish line running through the paper, looks like it might have been some sort of paper imperfection, but everything is perfectly readable. The edges of this book (as you can see from the scans) show some foxing, and some discoloration, with the interior pages being average. Bogey Men contains ten tales, and shows a number of stress lines along the spine, with the covers showing (expecially the back) spots where some liquids have splattered on them. There are some store stamps and writing inside the back cover, and I can see where the glue holding the cover on has just about failed, and I could easily imagine the cover falling off from reading (in one piece, which could be glued back on if desired). Definitely the worst shape book, but does reprint classic Bloch stories like The Skull of the Marquis de Sade and The Man who Collected Poe. So again, a reader's lot, with some issues, but a good grouping of Bloch, with both the novels and shorts, where a lot of Bloch books are out of print.
