Up for auction are 3 EXQUISITE OLD FASHIONED RUBY CUT-TO-CLEAR GLASS TUMBLERS ALL WITH PERFECT TOPS. The one price is for all 3 tumblers. Each tumbler is 3 1/4 Inches high, with a top opening of 2 5/8 Inches across, and sitting on a red round base of 2 3/8 Inches, as can be seen in the photographs. I do not know when they were made or who made them, but each bottom is incised with the letters BSB and the number 16 or 11. Each tumbler weighs about 6 ounces, and can easily hold 6 ounces of liquid, and when filled to the very top can hold almost 8 ounces of liquid. They are beautifully shaped with a deep ruby red cut to clear design of 24 large 1 inch hand cut diamonds completely surrounding the entire glass, and 12 of the diamonds have hand cut stars in their centers, as can be seen in the photographs. Although they were purchased from an old estate sale on Long Island and were pre-owned, their tops that you can see are in absolutely perfect condition. However, the bottom of one has a little flaking off of the red coloring, and another tumbler has a large scratch about 1 inch by 1/8 inch in its center, but the third is perfect, as can be seen in the photographs. However, when using the glasses, none of these small missing red scrapings can be see at all. I found them siting on a top shelf inside a closed living room cabinet, where it probably sat for many years, probably the reason they look so beautiful. My only regret is that I wish I had more of them, because they are so beautiful. I have been collecting unusual vintage objects for many years, and always try to describe the item as best as I can. Besides the flaws on the bottom of two of the tumblers already described and photographed, there are no other chips, cracks, fleabites, scratches, stains, cloudiness, or repairs. They come from a smoke-free home. I only accept PayPal, and never charge extra for packaging and handling.
