They grow to 2" in height and live for years.These snails will arrive alive and ready to clean up the algae, fish waste and even dead fish and plant matter. If these snails are not provided food, they will eat live plants. They will eat any vegetable or fruit; I sliced up potatoes and carrots. These snails are slower moving than most breeds. If a DOA situation occurs (it's rare), just give it 24 hours, the snails are in shock and they need to “wake up” and it can take a few hours into the night.We've sold 1000's of snails now and I always throw in free gift snails.
