Humor This is a nice selection of GREETINGS postcards showing CHILDREN that would have been sent for BEST WISHES and FRIENDSHIP. The postcards have the classic look, and are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s. The postcards show young children in a number of scenes. One is MUSICAL, and shows a child playing a drum. Another shows a boy with a dog at the beach area and carrying a sailboat model. The other one has a young boy lying on "grandma's" lap getting his pants mended and with a dog in the design. These have a HUMOR theme to them. The one with the sailboat is ARTIST SIGNED by Wall, a very famous and respected artist. They have good detail that makes them pleasing to look at. The postcards are Flat Printed, and published by ULLMAN. These postcards were produced by Ullman Manufacturing Co. (1898-1915, NY), who published during the “Golden Age of Postcards” (1908-1915). They first published lithographic novelties and prints, and then went into publishing a wide variety of postcards and greeting cards. They are noted for their “Gold Border” Series. They are considered one of the “most wanted publishers” by collectors. They printed on heavy stock paper and many of their postcards were artist signed. This is a nice mixture of antique Children postcards for the collector. The postcards are detailed and pleasing to look at. These are truly collector items, and would be good to put into a collection. Overall, a nice selection of Children antique postcards at a reasonable price! The postcards are UNPOSTED (1) and POSTED (2) with cancel dates of 1907-10. These were "Printed In USA" during the "Golden Age of Postcards" (1908-1915 era). They have DIVIDED backs. Note one has the stamp removed, but it does not impact the front. These are BETTER POSTCARDS and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some of these to have edge wear, smudges, stains, paper toning, cuts and creases because of their age (over 100 years old!). Regarding condition, please note that we try to remove damaged postcards from our lots, and only sell those postcards that are worth having in a collection. We only ship within the USA; we do not sell or ship internationally. USA shipping is with tracking, and we use eBay Standard Envelope mail when the value is under $20 and the weight is under 3 oz; and, we use USPS Ground Advantage when the value is over $20 or the weight is over 3 oz.
