Description: This is an opportunity to own a truly rare piece of history minted between 218-222 AD in Mesopotamia. This is apparently the second known example of this coin and the first outside of a core collection. This is a genuine coin of Elagabalus, struck in bronze, and in the exact condition you see pictured. It features a portrait of Elagabalus, laureate, on the obverse and a star within a crescent on the reverse. It is a chance to own a specimen that is guaranteed authentic. Grading is subjective. In my opinion, this coin is VG. I checked ACSearch and other sources to verify if any other examples have appeared. It appears RPC is correct that there is only one other documented example.
