I prepackage stones by hand in large, random quantities at a time, then rebalance lots as necessary to ensure that each order is well-balanced for color, variety, pattern, and is safe to be shipped. My Original sized stones measure between roughly 1 and 2 inches from the widest points; there typically come between 35 to 50 stones in a pound, with the average being 40. Some stones are more common than others- and others can be quite rare. Not all stones from the same chart are the same rarity… there are some stones that have only been encountered once in over 4,000 pounds!
