Description: On offer is a very nice unfished, older than vintage, Mid-20th Century 3 1/2" K-B No. 3 Spoon made circa 1945 by the now closed K-B Bait Company of Superior, Wisconsin. It is substantial, well made, and in very good condition with a bright nickel body finish (the apparent flaws are only reflections) and intact attaching hardware and treble hook. Very clean--no dirt, rust, or corrosion. This beautiful classic collectible is no longer being manufactured. The tackle for sale is pre-owned and used. Please review the foregoing description and photographs carefully. I gently clean my sale items; however, I do not alter or modify them in any way. Anglers and collectors often prefer to own and use older tackle, especially earlier versions of lures still being manufactured, or models and patterns that have been discontinued. Older lures are often more valuable, have proven track-records of success, and are generally better made than many of today's versions. Frankly, older lures, especially those made out of wood, are just better investments. I have fished and collected vintage tackle since 1955, and am committed to displaying and describing my sale items precisely to the best of my knowledge and ability. I rate the condition of an item on a scale of poor to excellent. I factor in age when making this assessment. The older an item, the more acceptable are wear and minor flaws. If I can ship multiple items in one parcel to the same buyer at the same time, I charge one shipping cost, and credit the buyer for any excess pre-paid shipping charges.
