Description: 29 Mugshots Related to the 1984 Lucchese Family Carting Industry Probe - Mafia Listed for sale are 29 original photos related to the infamous 1984 probe that uncovered organized crime infiltration of the carting industry. Included are 27 mugshots and two surveillance photos. The most infamous individual pictured is the one-time Lucchese Family underboss Salvatore "Tom Mix" Santoro. Along with other organized crime associates, there are owners of the carting companies, teamster union officials, town board members, and others that assisted in the mafias infiltration of the waste removal industry. For reference, pictured are some newspaper articles that covered the probe and listed the individuals and their ties to the case. The photos were taken with a polaroid camera and all measure 3.5 x 4.25 with a handwritten notation on the back naming the individual pictured. Since none of these photos have ever been published, watermarks have been added to the close up photos to protect the images exclusivity.
