Description: Our powder coated steel strut spacers are designed to work with your factory Honda suspension to achieve approximately .25 inches (7mm) of lift. Sold as set of 2 for front installation only. This kit is meant for minor height adjustments to get the desired look or stance. Fits 2003-2011 Honda Element, 2002-2006 CR-V, and 2001-2005 Civic. FAQsQ: "Will I need an alignment after installing this kit?"A: No, these shims will not affect alignment. However, an alignment is required for any lift kit greater than 1 inch. Q: "Will lifting my car affect the axles?"A: Sometimes. It depends on the amount of lift and the type of axles you have in your vehicle. Parts store rebuilt axles are more prone to having issues. In general, installing front lift spacers greater than 2.5" will require a subframe drop or "body lift" to maintain proper axle angle. Q: "Do I need to replace my suspension bushings when installing a lift kit?"A: It depends on the condition of your existing bushings. We always recommend inspecting your factory bushings and replacing them with urethane bushings such as Energy Suspension if needed. The added benefit of installing urethane bushings is that it allows the suspension to move more freely without binding up. Q: "Will lifting my car negatively affect the handling?"A: In most cases, yes. By lifting the suspension you are effectively raising the roll center of the car, which can cause additional body roll. Our lift kits are intended for off-road use where suspension travel and ground clearance are more important.
