A discontinued FSR (Factory Special Run) model featuring a custom color Sherwood Green Metallic gloss finish, this “Made in Japan” bass is uncommon outside of its country of origin. Pairing vintage aesthetics and modern, player-friendly touches, features include a satin-finished neck, modern 9 1/2“ fretboard radius, medium jumbo fretwire, and a USA-made Fender Pure Vintage pickup. Tonewoods include an alder body and one-piece maple neck, and this Precision Bass weighs 8lbs 12oz. The USA-made Pure Vintage split-coil pickup delivers a classic P Bass tonal palette, with smooth, broad thump and sweet treble articulation, particularly warm and thick with the Tone knob rolled back.
