Description: The Gibson Les Paul CM has a rubbed satin black finish over a full thickness shaped maple cap, on a mahogany body. It has the same outline as any other Les Paul, and a body that is 1 1/4 inches thick along the edge and about 1 1/2 inches deep along the center line. Weight is 7 lb, 4 oz. It's one of the lightest and most resonant ones you will encounter. Cosmetically, it is in close to perfect condition showing little signs of wear. Tuners were upgraded to Kluson Contemporary Die cast. These guitars come from the factory with an Alnico V zebra pickup that is extremely bright and Fender-y. I have had it replaced with a Pete A Flynn PAF clone with an Alnico II magnet. It's more to my liking, sounds great, and I get compliments whenever I play it out. The sustain of a single pickup guitar can be shocking if you aren't used to it. The guitar has been Plekked at the Music Gallery of Highland Park, so it plays perfectly. Every note rings out as intended. I will include a like new Gibson gig bag. I am asking a bit more than you can find other CM's for, but, this guitar not only needs nothing, but it is one of the lightest ones you'll find, and it plays perfectly. You get what you pay for.
