This postcard is in near-mint/mint condition and will be shipped in a hard top loader to protect your investment. For the many of you that may not know what an "Artist Proof" postcard is, I will be my pleasure to explain why they are so rare. Ever since 1989 when Goal line art started to produce these incredible postcards, they have taken 50 of each postcard from the run of 5,000 and marked them with an "AP" stamp to signify that these are "Artist Proof" postcards. Each year 25 of these postcards were given to the artist Gary Thomas for his private collection and 25 were kept by the president of Goal line art. Gary Thomas was a close personal friend of mine until his passing on January 18, 2022. Gary and I had an arrangement whereas he would sell me part of his personal "Artist Proof" collection and he would sign the back of the postcards while leaving the fronts to be signed by the player. Therefore, I am the only dealer that has these rare, signed postcards and anyone else on Ebay that has any for sale got them from me.
