My father had this built in 2007 by Performance Choppers, a custom bike shop in El Cajon, California (near San Diego). He went all out spending close to $60k on the build. It’s a rigid frame with a 200mm rear. He went with all top shelf parts to include S&S, Ultima, HITECH, Performance Machine, RC Components, D&D, Barnett, Wyatt Gatling, Exile Cycles, Choppers Inc, Spyke, Drag Specialties, and a completely custom paint job and matching hand-tooled leather seat by Dream Evil Designs. He spared no expense on having this badass chopper built, even down to the small details. For example, it’s got a hydraulic clutch with the line internally ran through the frame. The throttle cable is also routed cleanly under the tank through the frame, giving the bike a super clean and tidy look. Even more, the front brake line is run through the lower triple tree, giving it a super sleek and finished look. All the lines are stainless steel, and all the electrical wiring is internally run through the frame. He loved this bike, and spent countless hours taking care of it. He would ride it down to the local bar occasionally, and every now and then to the local bike night a few miles from his house. He spent more time polishing it than riding it. It’s probably got less than 1500 miles on it. This is a very well-maintained bike and other than a few small paint imperfections, it looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Doesn’t leak oil, doesn’t smoke, shifts smooth, runs strong, and is in great mechanical condition as well. We replaced the rear tire last year (0423 date code), along with the chain. Both have less than 100 miles or so on them. I’ve ridden the bike a few times and it’s an absolute monster! You can’t crack the throttle more than halfway without holding on for dear life. The 124ci S&S is insane! And the 200mm rear is perfect! Not too big, but still plenty of meat out back. Compared those big 250mm and 300mm rear tires you often see on choppers, the 200mm rear handles well. You can actual make turns with it. And the electronic compression release valves make life easy with this massive motor. It fires up with ease on the first crank every time. And the massive 4 inch HITECH open primary is just killer cool!!! You see the normal BDL or Ultima 3 inch open primary on other chopper builds occasionally, but it is extremely rare to see the massive 4 inch HITECH drag primary. I remember him talking about the cost of just the primary being over $6k at the time of the build. The diamond cut and polished 124ci S&S motor was around $12k from what I remember. I have taken over 250 pictures of the bike detailing the condition, parts, and function of the bike. I also have half a dozen videos as well. I have them on my Google drive folder since eBay only lets me upload 40 pictures and 1 video. Please take a look at all the photos and videos. They are very detailed. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1BG30ctqeFttgqJbDg-nlvDpKoP473wB9 I want to be as transparent as possible, so the next owner knows the ins and outs of the bike. I have taken close up pictures of where the paint has some imperfections. I only found 3 minor places (2 of which are on the rear fender). 1st spot: the rear fender has a small crack in the paint. It's about a 1/4 inch and I have pointed it out in several up-close pictures. 2nd spot: the left side rear fender bolt hole has some chipping around the frame bung and a few chips where the chain scuffed the edge of the fender at some point when the rear wheel was removed, possibly for tire, brake, or a previous chain replacement. 3rd spot: the lip around the pop-up gas tank has some paint imperfections. Other than that, the paint is in amazing condition for its age! Overall, I'd call the paint 9.5/10. My dad would love for it to go to another chopper fanatic who would enjoy it and take care of it just as much as he did. The title is clean and clear and I have it in hand. Comes with 2 keys and all the paperwork from the maintenance done by Performance Choppers shop over the years. It is ready to ride! I’ll accept cash, certified bank check, or a wire transfer. I am open to reasonable offers, but this is not some amateur garage build with low-quality junk RevTech parts. The asking price is less than a third of what the build cost was. Please don't waste my time with a ridiculous offer. Buyer responsible for pickup or shipping. If you have any questions, just let me know. 865-660-3497. Thanks, Adam.
