2004 Jeep Wrangler X

Description: This is an unusually nice 2004 Jeep Wrangler with the manual trans and 4.0L engine. I am listing it on behalf of my close friends who have owned the vehicle for the past two years and it has never been offroad during their ownership. The prior owner brought the Jeep from Florida so you can understand how the body and undercarriage are so nice. The current adult woman owner commutes less than two miles for work and then uses the vehicle for hauling dogs to and from the park and errands as needed. I assure you this Jeep has never been abused and the appearance of the Jeep should support that statement easily. You can see the Jeep has some upgrades from the LED tail lights to the aftermarket fenders. It also has ARB suspension upgrades and wheel and tire package that really fits the Jeep nicely. The seats have some neoprene covers over the original gray stock seats that aren't ripped or torn up, they were just a little too ugly for the current owner and the covers were installed for better durability. I looked under the covers and I suspect that a proper detail/shampoo will make the seats look great. The rear seat is in perfect condition and was in storage when photos were taken, however that allowed for clear view of the rear cargo area. There is obviously no carpet in the Jeep, again which allows for clear view of the near perfect tub bottom as can be seen from the interior and below. The center glove box lid latch needs some attention or replacement. This Jeep was built as a toy, but again never used as such or abused. There are minor paint nicks here and there that were touched up with a detail brush, however it was only done to prevent corrosion previous to current owners taking possession. The Bestop soft top has a manufacture date on the windows from 2015. It is in very nice condition with no cuts abnormal wear anywhere on the top or sides and the top/forward section unlatches and folds rearward as can be seen in the photos. Its a really nice durable setup. Mechanically the Jeep is awesome for its age with no leaks. The transmission shifts very nicely and unless you're racing from a stop light under hard acceleration will there be a light shimmy up front due to the suspension which goes away once acceleration is "normal". There are no unusual steering/suspension/driving issues at highway or around-town speeds. The owner said that the AC isn't super cold, probably could use a re-charge, however the heat and all selection switches work as they should. There is no remote for the winch, so that would need to be brought by an interested buyer for operational checks if that is an issue. Again--this has been an asphalt queen and not beaten on in the dirt, although it would likely perform well if someone had such plans for it.
