This treasured duo was a gift that's been displayed in my family's front-rooms for many years.Both 'urns' feature intricate painted details, plus a classic color-scheme to exquisitely brighten any decor.VERY GOOD Condition. Its unique design and history make it a must-have for decorative collectors & vase-enthusiasts alike.Note the large left & right-facing horseman & horse on the front panel of each.Below the soldiers are a white 'Greek-key' design that encircles the cylinder. A 360° white on cyan painted floral also surrounds the jug's neck.Encircling the base is an upside-down heart pattern with regularly-spaced white dots.A somewhat-worn gilded-paint ribbon encircles at mouth & base.Each of 2 vases stand 11¼" tall. The mouth measures 2½" wide. The middle widens to 4". The heavier glass-weighted base measures 3⅝" wide.Probably the glass was shaped on a machine, and then hand-painted using cut-outs.Insides of each vessel have been carefully cleaned.In times past (the 1950s?), this pair held delicate floral arrangements on a mantel (out of harm's way).Mailed carefully with extra packing, plus my box-within-a-box method.Crafted with enthusiasm, this 'vase set' is a testament to the talented artisans who crafted & decorated them.
