They are unbranded, so I am not sure whether they were made by Toshiba, Matsushita, Hitachi, or other. Each section (2 diode sections, and 1 triode section) tested good emission (WITH LIFE TEST ENGAGED) and without shorts or leakage on our professionally calibrated Sencore TC28 Mighty Mite tube tester. IMPORTANT TESTING NOTE: some tube testers, such as most B&K models, severely overdrive the triode section of 14GT8 and therefore you cannot rely on the test results of that triode section test (which is at pin 8). *MANY* 14GT8, tested in such a tester, will test the triode section falsely weak. The RCA datasheet for 14GT8 lists the triode section as 0.7ma plate current (which is less than 1ma). The B&K tries to drive the triode section well beyond 15ma. THAT IS AN IMPROPER TEST. You cannot test a triode designed for 1ma operating current, by driving it at 15ma+, and expect it to pass. That is flawed test parameters. The Sencore Mighty Mite correctly drives the triode section at a proper cathode current level, and is therefore a valid test. Photos show one tube being tested as example, testing each section (2 diodes + 1 triode), WITH LIFE TEST ENGAGED AND GOOD EMISSION TEST RESULT OF EACH SECTION.
