Description: Penn Antique Restoration Penn Antique Restoration ~ 2 available ~ 30"x80" Antique Solid Wood Interior Swinging Doors w/2 Panels * Please note that the 30"x80" in the title is just an estimate. Neither door is exactly that size. Please see "Dimensions" below. Although there are 2 doors available, the list price is for 1 door only. If you are planning on buying only 1 door please look at the photos above and dimensions below, and message us to let us know which door you'd like. First 3 photos show Door#1 & the next 3 show Door#2 THESE DOORS CAN BE USED TOGETHER AS A PAIR (see last 2 photos for a reference). Handsome, antique, swinging doors salvaged from an old home in Northeastern, PA. The doors are made of either solid Douglas Fir or pine and are stained. They have a traditional, Arts & Crafts style, 2 recessed (flat) panel arrangement. Today, "pine" is known as a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees doesn't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old has. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine. Hardware: The doors are not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware to outfit them (check out our eBay store). * If you would like any of the hardware holes plugged with solid wood, please email us for a quote. Uneven Height: The height of Door#1 was unevenly cut by 1/4", and Door#2's height by 3/8". The cuts were most likely made to compensate for the home's settling foundation or a warped floor. We could cut either of the doors to an even height/width, cut them narrower and/or shorter, or even build them up to make them bigger--message us for a quote. Condition: The doors are strong, sturdy, and in great condition. They only have nicks and scratches, but no broken or cracked joints, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that they have will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks". Modification: Do you want to turn these swinging doors into regular doors? Do you want to replace the panels with glass, screen/mesh, or something else? We could modify the doors to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could trim or add to the heights or widths, plug the hardware holes, etc. message us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote. Dimensions: (Both doors measure are 1 3/8" thick) Door#1: 29 3/4" x 79 3/4" - 80" Door#2: 30" x 79 7/8" - 80 1/4" Too tall, short, wide or narrow?
